Christmas in Italy

IL NATALE

Anche in Italia si fa l'albero di Natale, e anche in Italia ci sono decorazioni lungo le strade. E a portare i regali sai chi è? Ma sì, Babbo Natale! Però, quasi in tutte le case italiane c'è il presepe, vero e proprio paesaggio di montagna con casette, pecore e pastori; con grotte, neve, fiumi e cascate.

Al centro c'è la grotta dov'è nato Gesù Bambino, con Maria, Giuseppe, il bue e l'asinello. Non dimentico i re Magi che, colmi di regali, seguono la misteriosa stella che li guiderà fino a Betlemme. D'altra parte, tutte le statuine del presepe convergono verso la grotta.

A Roma e in tutte le città italiane, ogni chiesa ha il suo presepe, veri e propri capolavori d'ingegno. Presepi molto suggestivi, che ti strappano stupori e ti fanno ritornare in infanzia.

Adesso, scommetto che l'alberello tu ce l'hai. Ma il presepe, te lo costruisci tu?
