La sua soddisfazione fu grande e disse a sé stesso ad alta voce: Alzando gli occhi verso l'alto per cercare un appiglio per rialzarsi, in compenso ho salvato la luna dall'annegamento! Una notte Giufà, passando vicino a un pozzo, vide la luna riflessa nell'acqua. cominciò a tirare. Pensando che fosse caduta dentro decise di salvarla. - Sono caduto e mi sono un po' ammaccato Prese un secchio, lo legò a una corda e lo buttò giù. Il secchio, salendo, rimase però impigliato nelle pareti del pozzo.
